Firstly, I always have this image of Ella in mind:


But when she was a child, she was described as having black hair, and being pale, with cheeks rosy from excitement. Her mother said that green set off her eyes, which makes me think they're green...and then her father said they were green too. At some point, they described her hair as straight and rather long. Her father said she had a strong chin and nostrils that maybe flare a bit. She's small, but has a growth spurt when before she turns 16. Her feet are still tiny due to her fairy blood and whoever plays her has to look like she's not a little wisp of a person because she's rather tough. And she's clumsy. She has to obey commands, so it needs to be someone who has a resisting face, and someone who enjoys freedom and being herself. She doesn't need to be refined.

Honestly, Anne Hathaway would be decently acceptable. But she's way too old, imo, not to mention her face is so soppy and wide. She's too sweet and soft for the stubborn and headstrong Ella in my mind. So! With all of that in mind:
